Modern technology is giving us a new look into Ontario’s past.

As part of the Ontario Museum Association’s annual conference which is underway in Windsor, a new web site has been launched. Called the Virtual Museum of Franco-Ontarian Heritage, it celebrates francophone contributions over the past 400 years.

Association Director Marie Lalonde says it highlights the French influence on Ontario’s society, culture, economy and politics. “This tremendous project allows museums across the province to contribute and celebrate the historic milestones and rich heritage that is in our collections.”

The web site is available in French and English. The address is www.mon400.com.
